Slow And Steady, Wins The Race
There are 3 different runs this week:
Run 1: A brisk 5-minute walk, then 5 minutes of running, 3 minutes of walking, 8 minutes of running, 3 minutes of walking and 5 minutes of running.
Completed this one, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought at all. As usual, I took it slow and steady.
Run 2: A brisk 5-minute walk, then 10 minutes of running, 3 minutes of walking and 10 minutes of running.
Not done this one, it rained. I decided to stay home…. very frustrating, but I hate going out in the rain, which never seem to stop. Isn’t it supposed to be summer!
I won’t be going tomorrow either, as it will not leave me enough time to rest before the third run on Monday; so I hope I’ll be able to do the run then, without any problem
Run 3: A brisk 5-minute walk, then 25 minutes of running with no walking.
Oh my word, I did it! I ran for 25 minutes! and I feel soooo elated. Inspite of missing the second run, this one wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I feel so encouraged now.
Roll on week 7, here I come.
