I Have This Thing To Do, But I’m Afraid To Start…

Some of us have been living in fear for a few months, with the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic.  However, for the majority of us, fear is not far away from our subconscious.

It is with us every day in one form or another and if we give in to it we find ourselves stuck in a never-ending groove of wanting to get something done, yet afraid to try because we might fail, it might go wrong or something awful will happen which we will not be able to get over.

This fear can be painful; physically, mentally and psychologically and often we can’t seem to be able to get ourselves out of this very negative state which mars our progress and our physical and mental wellbeing.

It helps when you have positive and encouraging people around you, who you can talk to about your fears and who can and will steer you in the right direction to work through your fear and achieve your goals.

I’ll be writing a series of posts dealing with fear; what it is, how we acquire it; and some things I do – which could encourage you to work through and move beyond it to achieve your goals.

In the meantime, I have attached a link below to a book which I believe will help you to begin to look your fear squarely in the face and call its bluff.
